He is Risen…

Christ is risen.

This is the most important day of the year for those of us that are Christian. This is the day that our Creator saved us from ourselves.

For those of us that believe in an after life (this life makes no sense without that after life), God gives us a “get out of jail free” card with the death and resurrection of his only Son, Jesus Christ.

We cannot, as mere mortals, do enough good works in God’s eyes to make ourselves pure to enter the Kingdom of God. Only God can save us. But each of us must intellectually understand this process of Salvation. The only possible way for us to become pure is the supreme sacrifice.

How can we ever thank Christ for what He did for us? Well, acceptance of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is what He is looking for. That is what our heavenly Father wants us to understand… Salvation is a gift.

Believe. Believe in the Son of God who died for your sins. Accept Him and Salvation is yours. It doesn’t get any better than this.

Merry Christmas to All…

Best wishes to all of you on this Christmas Day. The mood during the season is always electric as people prepare for holiday parties, family dinners, and finding some type of gift for a loved one that tells him or her that you consider that person to be very special.

All of these wonderful holiday activities are great fun. But let’s make sure we always remember what the purpose of all of this is. This day is a celebration of the birth of the Savior… The Lord that makes Salvation possible. Where would we be without Him?

We celebrate with great joy that He is among us preparing us for our days in the Kingdom of God. For those of us who accept the Lord as our Savior, what excitement we feel to think of our days where there will be no tears, no sickness, no death… only the joy of being with our Creator and our loved ones forever.
