Rich Little is considered the best impersonator of all time by many people. Every routine I saw him do over the years was very funny. Little is in his 70′s now but he still looks good and he still makes everyone laugh.

With the exception of Johnny Carson, I have always thought that Letterman was the funniest late night talk show host on TV. The man has a quick wit and a caustic style of humor.
He has that Midwest friendly personality that can be quite charming… until he sticks that knife in you. He can make anyone laugh. That is, of course, what he is paid to do.
But Dave has that streak of “nasty” in him that takes no prisoners and often leaves his guests or the butt of his jokes standing there holding their guts in their hands. Some of those moments are very amusing but also quite embarrassing. The interview with Joaquin Phoenix comes to mind.
He overdid it on Sarah Palin and her family. His original comments about her were in poor taste leaving many people disgusted with the funny man. He then went after her again making us wonder about his judgment.
Now, what do we make of his treatment toward his wife? Dave Letterman is certainly not alone in sexual misbehavior… especially in the entertainment industry. But every time I find out, it’s a let down. Another man steps all over his wife (and children).
In this case, it is also very hypocritical because Letterman skewered every politician that was caught being a philanderer and ridiculed the sinner during his own show. Now, the shoe is on the other foot.
America will forgive David Letterman. But we will never look at him the same way again.
